Private Home Care
You don't need to wait for a referral or assessment to arrange care with Willow Senior Care.
If you or a loved one needs a little extra help at home, you can contact us directly to discuss your needs. Private care gives you the freedom to choose your care provider and arrange support around what's important to you.
Whether you need help with personal care, medication support, companionship, respite, appointments or everyday tasks, we'll talk through what support would be most helpful and complete a comprehensive assessment before your care begins.
Care can range from a little additional support each week to a more comprehensive package of regular visits.
You choose your care. You choose your provider. We build the support around you.
Using a Direct Payment?
You may be able to choose Willow Senior Care even if your care is funded by Staffordshire County Council.
If you've been assessed as eligible for care and support, you may be offered a personal budget. One way of receiving this is through a Direct Payment, which gives you greater choice and control over how your care and support is arranged.
Instead of the council arranging your care provider for you, you can choose to use your Direct Payment to purchase support from a CQC-registered private care provider such as us, provided the care meets the outcomes agreed in your Care and Support Plan. Staffordshire County Council confirms that Direct Payments can be used for support including personal care, accessing appointments and the community, and respite care.
Why choose a care provider for your Direct Payment?Using a registered private care provider means you don't have to become an employer yourself. Willow takes responsibility for employing, training and managing the carers providing your support.
Staffordshire County Council also notes that using a private care provider generally involves less day-to-day responsibility than employing your own Personal Assistant and provides emergency cover.
You agree the care arrangements and rate directly with your chosen provider. If the cost of your chosen service is higher than the amount available within your Direct Payment, you would need to contribute the difference yourself.
